Leadership

Christina Calio

Co-Founder

Christina was the face of Microsoft within the music industry for over a decade, leading key negotiations with record labels, publishers, and artist managers as the industry evolved to embrace new digital business models and channels, from music subscription to distribution on Xbox and mobile. Before that, Christina led international sales and marketing at Geffen Records, where she worked closely with artists including Guns N’ Roses, Aerosmith, Beck, Joni Mitchell, Nirvana, and many others. Christina’s background, much like co-founder Bryan’s, demonstrates a passion and interest in bringing innovative technology to life in ways that benefit artists, fans, and business.

Bryan Lee

Co-Founder

Bryan was an early leader of the Xbox team driving the business and strategy efforts for Xbox, Xbox Live and Xbox 360. Next, as Corporate Vice President of Entertainment Businesses, Bryan led all of Microsoft’s products and services in the music, film, and television industries. Prior, Bryan led the film activities of Sony Pictures Entertainment. During his tenure, the studio launched its “Spiderman” and “Men in Black” franchises along with numerous other financially successful and critically acclaimed films. Bryan’s executive positions at traditional media companies, as well as Christina’s, has resulted in a 360-degree understanding and appreciation of the complexities of introducing existing businesses to emerging technologies.
