Popins takes a different approach. Popins charges artists nothing to create 3D holographic music videos and other content. Popins produces the digital assets and makes them available to smart devices around the world.

Any revenues are split 50-50 between Popins and the artist.

On-demand Popins are filmed in our volumetric video studio in Seattle, Washington. Artists are surrounded by 51 depth-cameras as they perform their music or other art form. Popins films the experience as a single take, then processes the footage over the next few weeks turning it into a 3D asset. Artists are usually in and out of the studio in just a few hours.

Our live Popins are also produced in our Seattle studio. For live, artists stand in front of 8 depth-cameras and are seen by up to 50 viewers around the world through either a smart device as AR or a Quest 2 headset as VR. Viewers can talk to performers and created mixed reality photos and videos in their real world environments.

Volumetric Video is a technology that uses multiple cameras to capture an object in real time and then weaves each recording together through software to create a seamless 3D digital asset that you can view from any angle.

On-demand Popins, like the examples included below, are designed to allow artists to monetize sponsorships, NFT sales and many other arrangements, Much like other music videos, Popins include credits for the artists overlayed in the bottom left of the screen. In addition, Popins create a space for sponsor, NFT owner or other attribution. These credits are personalized based on the artists business arrangements and are included on UGC photos and videos created by fans and posted to on TikTok and other social media platforms potentially creating enormous value for sponsors, NFT owners or others.

Live Popins can be monetized like other live events through ticket sales or even Cameo offerings.

Popins believes that artists should own their works. Therefore, the 3D content created in conjunction with Popins is 100% owned by the artists.

The artist and Popins will mutually agree on any distribution plans. Any revenues will be split 50-50 between the artists and Popins.

The artists only responsibility is to ensure that any underlying content (e.g., sync rights) are cleared for this purpose.
